Tim McLain

Real Estate Agent

After nearly 25 years as a teacher in the Mobile County Public School System, I began to realize that retirement was slowly creeping up on me.  As I considered when I would retire and what I might do after I retired, I came to the realization that, even though I had spent many years as an educator, I was much too young to actually retire. And besides, I really didn’t want to quit working, but perhaps just to make a late-in-life transition.

In January of 2018, I began my journey as Realtor by enrolling in the Alabama Real Estate Course and became licensed by the AREC on June 21, 2018.  For the next couple of years, I continued working as a teacher while I established and grew my real estate business. On June 1, 2020, I retired from teaching and launched my full-time real estate career. I am loving this new adventure in life and look forward to helping people with their real estate needs.

I mostly enjoy the simple things in life, but one of my favorite things to do is just hanging out with family and friends. I especially love “breaking bread” with others and look forward to hosting get-togethers. My family and most of my friends love to laugh… and to laugh really loud! I love my church family, I’m a huge ALABAMA Football fan (Roll Tide Roll), I enjoy playing the drums and guitar and I like to watch a little NASCAR, mostly the super speedway races.

As I always remind my clients, the greatest compliment they can offer me is a referral to their family and friends! So… how can I help you?
